Every doorstep starts with a dot

Fusion 360

1. Use Export layers separately and insert the -outline.svg file (Insert, Insert SVG) on a sketch plane.
2. Measure the calibration square: it must be 10 mm. If not, scale the sketch by 10 / measured.
3. Finish the sketch, select the outline profiles (skip the holes) and Extrude.

Blender

1. File, Import, Scalable Vector Graphics. The file imports at true size in metres.
2. Select the outline curve, set Geometry, Extrude, or convert to mesh and add a Solidify modifier.

Inkscape

• The combined file has layers: outline, centerline (hidden), dots and calibration.

Printing (0.4 mm nozzle)

• Line width 1.2 mm is a safe default; below 0.8 mm the slicer may drop walls.
• Keep strands at least 0.8 mm apart. Marked spots in the preview show narrower gaps.
• Try a 2 to 3 mm base and 1 to 2 mm relief, with relief height at most twice the line width.
